Gameplay and mechanics
  • Yarn-based abilities:
    Kirby uses his yarn body to lasso enemies, swing from points, and transform into various vehicles and objects like a car, submarine, or tank. 
  • No traditional copy abilities:
    Instead of inhaling enemies to copy powers, Kirby uses his yarn to manipulate the environment, such as pulling threads to reveal secrets. 
  • Co-op mode:
    A second player can join as Prince Fluff, with both characters able to transform together into larger forms like a giant robot. 
  • Exploration:
    Levels are filled with hidden areas, beads (for scoring), and treasure chests that contain patches to decorate Kirby's apartment. 
  • No death:
    Kirby drops beads when hit but does not die, making the game more accessible and less stressful.
